Page not loading: browser and network troubleshooting

Reviewed and updated: 2026-07-10

When a page does not load, the fastest approach is to determine whether the issue affects one browser, one device, one network, or everyone.

Safety note: This guide is informational only. It does not host a sign-in form, collect credentials, or provide account recovery. Use only the official service address supplied by your organization.

Identify the scope

Test another trusted website, then test the same page in a second browser. This separates general connectivity from a site-specific problem.

Use private browsing

A private window bypasses most stored site data and is a useful first test.

Pause extensions briefly

Content blockers or security extensions can stop scripts and redirects. Test only long enough to identify the cause.

Check VPN, proxy, and DNS

Managed VPN or proxy settings may be required by policy. Do not disable them without authorization.

Consider service availability

If multiple devices and networks show the same result, official service status information or support may be needed.
